GIPR is a key metabolic regulator involved in nutrient sensing and energy balance. Iv0037 is a potent, fully antagonistic anti-mouse GIPR monoclonal antibody that locks the receptor’s extracellular domain in a unique auto-inhibitory conformation. By partially blocking ligand binding and mimicking the receptor’s C-terminal stalk, Iv0037 stabilizes GIPR in a novel inhibited state. In diet-induced obese mice, Iv0037 treatment reduces body-weight gain and improves metabolic profiles.
