| Background | Ganitumab (AMG 479) is a recombinant human monoclonal antibody to the human type 1 insulin-like growth factor receptor (IGF1R). Ganitumab recognizes murine IGF1R with sub-nanomolar affinity (KD=0.22 nM) and inhibits the interaction of murine IGF1R with IGF1 and IGF2. Ganitumab can be used in research of cancer. |

Flow-cytometry using anti-human IGFIR antibody. Hela cells were stained with an irrelevant antibody (Blue Histogram) or an anti-human IGFIR monoclonal antibody (Catalog TD-HY353026, Yellow Histogram) at a concentration of 5 µg/ml for 30 mins at RT. After washing, bound antibody was detected using a a Goat Anti-Human IgG H&L Polyclonal Antibody, FITC (TD-HF690414) and cells analysed on a NovoCyte Flow Cytometer. |
